Wir sind das Team IRIS aus Bremen. Das Team besteht aus fünf Schülerinnen und Schülern aus dem Q1 Mathe-Profil des Alexander-von-Humboldt-Gymnasiums. Drei von uns sind zusätzlich im Informatik LK. Wir sind hoch motiviert und freuen uns auf die Teilnahme am Wettbewerb.
 
Die größte Inspiration unseres Teams waren die ehemaligen CANSAT Teilnehmer unserer Schule. Das Team Recognize gewann vor zwei Jahren den deutschen Wettbewerb und qualifizierte sich so für den europäischen Wettbewerb.
 
Unser Ziel ist es das gleiche Resultat, wie das ehemalige Schulteam zu erreichen und sogar den europäischen Wettbewerb diesmal zu gewinnen. Der Betreuer unseres Teams heißt Herr Fohgrub und ist Physik- und Mathe-Lehrer an unserer Schule.
 
Nachdem wir es mit unserer Bewerbung geschafft haben und angenommen wurden und zu den zehn qualifizierten Teams in diesem Jahr gehören werden wir unser Bestes geben den ersten Platz zu erreichen, den deutschen Wettbewerb zu gewinnen und somit uns für den europäischen Wettbewerb zu qualifizieren. 
 
Wir freuen uns sehr an diesem Wettbewerb teilnehmen zu dürfen und wünschen den anderen Teams viel Spaß und Erfolg bei der Fertigstellung ihres Produkts.

We are the team IRIS from Bremen. Our team contains of 5 members and all of us attend Alexander-von-Humboldt High School. At present we are in the 11th grade and have Maths as LK, besides Maths three of us have Computer science as a second LK. This was one of the reasons that inspired us to participate in the competition.

 

However, the biggest inspiration to our participation was the former CanSat team of our school Recognize. This team won the first place in the German CanSat Competition for the year 2016 and thus made it to the European Competition.

 

Our main goal is to achieve what the former team achieved, which is winning the German Competition, but our horizon expands into willing to win the European Competition this time. The teacher who is responsible for us and is to guard us during this years competition is Mr. Fohgrub, who is actually a Physics teacher at our school.

 

After being accepted into the German competition and being among the 10 qualified teams, we will do our best to achieve the first place in the German and also European competition.

 

We are very excited to be part of this competition and wish the other teams a lot of fun and success in completing their products
